I saw this movie for the first time so many years back. A few days ago I watched it again and guess what? I thoroughly enjoyed it then as well.
Loosely based on Jane Austen's beautiful book 'Emma', Clueless is the coming-of-age story of the rich, beautiful, popular and spoilt girl named Cher Horowitz. With her best friend Dionne Davenport, she decides what is in and what is out in school. Once she plays matchmaker for two teachers in her school and finds that it was great to help people. And so she takes it upon herself to 'help' people. Soon a 'project' comes her way in the form of the awkward and 'unhip' new girl named Tai Frasier. Cher immediately takes her under her wings and directs her the 'right' way to get accepted as a popular girl.. What follows is the after effects of Cher's meddling and how it affects her life as well as those around her.
