Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane, Shutter Island is a psychological
thriller which will keep you guessing till the end. One of the patients
in a psychiatric facility for the criminally insane located on a remote
island goes missing. US Marshal Edward Daniels and his partner Chuck
Aule arrive on the island to investigate the case. From the start, the
duo finds the place very mysterious. The staff doesn’t seem to cooperate
and are unwilling to give them full support. What is more baffling is
that there is not really any way out of the island without being seen,
drowned or killed…
And then a storm comes and the two officers are stranded on the island…
